Cathay Capital ("Cathay") is a family of private equity funds providing growth capital to companies operating in China. Since its inception in 1992, Cathay has completed over 40 investments and numerous initial public offerings ("IPOs"), trade sales and other capital events. The Cathay funds are managed by New China Capital Management. New China maintains offices in Beijing, Hong Kong and Stamford, Connecticut.

JOB DESCRIPTION

New China Capital Management is hiring a full-time Investment Analyst. The Investment Analyst will be expected to perform the following duties:
1. Assist in the review of new investment opportunities by conducting industry, market and company research
2. Create valuation models for potential and existing investments
3. Monitor and report on investments
4. Assist fund manager with translation and investment administration
5. Create Fund presentations and organize meetings
6. Assist with fund administration and answer investor requests

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree from top program with strong academic performance
2. Experiences with exposure to various industries in China is a plus
3. Bi-lingual in Mandarin and English with strong writing skills in both languages
